1.

Share 1 thing that stood out to you about Sunday's Message. (1 minute max please) Also press play button in image above to watch or listen to Sundays message if you missed it or just to refresh your memory. (Each Individual)

2. Either Or? Or Both?

Acts 9:36

36 Now there was in Joppa a disciple named Tabitha, which, translated, means Dorcas. She was full of good works and acts of charity.

Is it easier for you to “do good works” or “to give financially” and why do you think that is? Maybe this has changed over the years for you so feel free to share your journey. Maybe you’ve gone back and forth over the years as well? Do you think that this is an either or decision we get to make or that the expectation is that Christians would always do both? (Group Discussion)

1 Thessalonians 4:13

13 I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope.

Romans 12:15

Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep.

On Sunday PV also talked about engaging people who are suffering and mourning. Are you better at helping people see the eternal truths of God in their suffering or are you better at weeping with those who are weeping? Do you think that this is an either or decision we get to make or that the expectation is that Christians would always do both? (Group Discussion)

3. You Who Believe

John 14:12-13

12 “Truly, truly, I say to you, WHOEVER BELIEVES in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father. 13 Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

Mark 16:17-18

17 And these signs will accompany THOSE WHO BELIEVE: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18 they will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.

On Sunday Pastor Vaughn reminded us that if you are a believer God expects you to be helping people go from death to life in some area of their lives. Everyone is not called to be a Pastor or Theologian or Teacher but all who believe should be doing the works that Jesus did which include loving and leading people to life in God.

3A: Think of one co-worker, friend, or family member that is struggling in some specific area or that doesn’t know Jesus as their Lord & Savior?

3B: What bible verse or passage or story do you think would help them?

3C: In 1 minute or less, after sharing that verse or passage or story with them how would you explain to them what it means and why you wanted to share it with them?

3D: In John 14:13 above Jesus said “Whatever you ask in My name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.” Finally, pray out loud for that person right now in the area you identified above. Ask and believe that Jesus will do it for God’s glory and this persons good!

(Each Individual complete 3A-3D then move on to the next person)

4. Tunic Type Love

On Sunday Pastor Vaughn said that love is the most transferable thing in the world. He said we can share or transfer love through clothes (like Tabitha’s tunics), & hugs, & art, & music, & our work, & generosity, an in countless other ways if we are intentional about doing these things in and through the love of God we are experiencing in our lives.

What is one way you think you share/transfer love to others? This is something you do like Tabitha made tunics. (Each Individual)

* Remember to pray for each other before heading home from life group and to stay in communication here in the app throughout the week on your life group messaging thread!
