Genesis 21:2
Sarah conceived and bore ABRAHAM a son in HIS old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to HIM.
1 Samuel 14:6-7
6 Then Jonathan said to the young man who bore his armor, "Come, let us go over to the garrison of these uncircumcised; it may be that the Lord will work for us. For nothing restrains the Lord from saving by many or by few.” 7 So his armorbearer said to him, "Do all that is in YOUR heart. Go then; here I am with YOU, according to YOUR heart."
On Sunday Pastor Vaughn talked about the greatest blessing in Sarah's life actually coming through a promise being fulfilled to Abraham. We also looked at Jonathan's armor bearer being fully committed to the desires and direction Jonathan had. It may be extremely hard to live this way with many real challenges BUT...
What if your greatest blessings are tied to helping others fulfill the promises of God in their lives? How could we know? What does fully committed to others really look like? How much is too much? What about you and your dreams? How can we look to Jesus as a model and for help? (Group Discussion)

On Sunday Pastor Vaughn talked about the shame Sarah carried before becoming a mother AND after. Jesus came to give us salvation and eternal life but He also came to deal with our shame. Share one area in your life that you continue to carry shame in, even after you've been born again. (Answer Individually)

Pray for church planters who would be willing to commit the rest of their lives to God's plans and vision and purposes for the world. Pray for men and women of all ages and stages in life who are willing to be trained and sent out to plant the next The Way church. Pray for The Way Brea to have vision and to be strong enough in every way to support a church plant. Pray for individuals and families who would be willing to go from Brea and be part of a church plant in another city.
