^ Click Take A Note ^ Remember to write down some short notes for each of the questions below before heading to life group.

1. Share 1 thing that stood out to you about Sunday's Message (1 minute max please) Also press play button in image above to listen to Sundays message if you missed it or to refresh your memory.

2. John 21 closes with a story primarily focused on Peter and his "redemption". What is redemption and why is redemption such an important part of Christianity? What has been redeemed in your life and what may need to be redeemed in your life?

3. Pastor Vaughn talked about "The Dying Of Discipleship" on Sunday when Jesus told Peter when you were young/immature you did what you wanted and went where you wanted but when you are old/mature another will lead you. Do you see the difference between loving Jesus (as Peter clearly does) and a willingness to lay down his plans and ways and pride in order to be lead through the dying of discipleship? Does Peters life after this encounter compared to before teach us anything helpful about this idea and process and its fruit? Discuss why this seems to be such a challenging concept for the American Church and for the typical Christian church members?

4. (If time permits) Jesus asked Peter, "Do you love Me more than these"? There are a lot of "THESE" things that can compete with Jesus for our love and devotion and commitment. Share 1 of "THESE" things in your personal life with your life group that you feel Jesus asking you "Do you love Me more than these". (Every individual please share 1 thing but no explanation required)

* Remember to pray for each other before heading home from life group and to stay in communication here in the app throughout the week on your life group messaging thread!
