Acts 2:41-47

41 Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them. 42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. 43 Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles. 44 Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, 45 and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need. 46 So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, 47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.

What is “The Way’s” vision for Life Groups?

Life Groups are about building deeper relationships with members of the local church community for the purpose of living out our faith.  God moves in the midst of His people and while sitting under the preaching and teaching of the word is foundational for the Christian it is still just one of many ways that God brings about transformation in individuals, families, and the world.  Life Groups are a space to practice what we preach and learn how to apply the things we’ve learned in real life situations.  Life Groups are also a place to find connections that will become your prayer circle and first stop for weekly encouragement and help.  Life Groups also provide a space for generational faith encounters as seniors join with mid-lifers, young adults and kids as Life Groups live out their Christianity together.  There truly is “Life” in the Life Group!

What are the requirements for Life Group hosts?


  • Host must know & have faith for the vision of The Way regarding Life Groups.
  • Host must be striving to live a life that honors God in every area.  Progress not perfection.
  • Host must be church members, faithful in church attendance, and faithful tithers.
